About The Position
Ascension is seeking a Medical Assistant for their Germantown Clinic in Germantown, WI. This is a full-time, day shift position. The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in patient care by assisting physicians and nurses with examinations and treatments, recording patient medical history and vital signs, and maintaining the cleanliness and stock of treatment rooms.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations, treatments, and specialized clinical duties.
- Interview patients to record medical history and accurately measure vital signs for charting.
- Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms while ensuring all medical supplies are ordered and stocked.
