About The Position

Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to provide patient care at its dermatology practice in Weston, Florida. The role is scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The practice emphasizes high-quality patient care and customer experience in dermatology and aesthetic services. The position involves supporting patients with skin conditions, documenting and reviewing clinical information, providing treatment and preventive-care education, and screening patients and employees upon entry.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is required.
• Must be computer literate.
• CPR certification is strongly preferred, or the ability to obtain certification within four weeks of employment.
• Ability to learn and understand medical terminology and vital signs.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of dermatology experience is preferred.
• A certificate of completion or diploma from a medical vocational program is preferred.
• CPR certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ skin conditions.
• Assess and update patients’ medical histories.
• Record patients’ dermatological symptoms.
• Analyze information regarding patients’ skin health conditions.
• Inform patients about proper and available treatments.
• Conduct non-intrusive medical surgeries.
• Educate patients about preventive skin care.
• Screen patients and employees daily upon entry.
