About The Position

Temple Faculty Physicians, the academic practice plan of Temple Health, comprises over 500 employed physicians across 20 academic departments. The Medical Assistant provides basic patient care and performs job-specific tasks under the direct supervision of a physician or other licensed medical provider. This role involves performing activities necessary for the personal needs, comfort, and safety of patients and their families, including clinical, environmental, and administrative duties in designated areas.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Graduate of Medical Assistant program
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant
- Basic Life Support
Nice To Haves
- 1 year experience as an Outpatient/Ambulatory Medical Assistant
- General Experience with EPIC EMR
Responsibilities
