Support the care team by performing clinical and administrative tasks that are vital to patient care. About This Location: AMG Southeast (2301 E 93rd St, Chicago, IL) is a fast-paced, team-centered primary care practice providing family medicine and internal medicine to patients from newborns through older adults. Our team delivers comprehensive care including routine physicals, women’s health, newborn and well-childcare, same-day sick visits, and chronic disease management. We proudly serve a diverse and often underserved community and partner closely with community resources, Neighborhood Care sites, and our pharmacists to support diabetic education and chronic disease medication maintenance. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience, to qualify.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish Bilingual is a plus but not a requirement

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
  • Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
  • Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
  • Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
  • Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
  • Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
  • Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
