About The Position

The Medical Assistant provides support in a PRN, as-needed capacity. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and current BLS/CPR. Medical Assistant certification and experience as a phlebotomist and/or medical assistant are preferred but not required. The position requires the ability to understand instructions and information, make judgments, perform arithmetic accurately, interpret spatial and visual material, coordinate precise hand and eye movements, and distinguish colors. Physical demands include lifting, pushing, and pulling objects up to 50 pounds and carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current BLS/CPR.
Ability to understand instructions, reason, and make judgments.
Ability to understand the meaning of words and ideas associated with them and use them effectively.
Ability to perform arithmetic operations quickly and accurately.
Ability to understand forms in space and relationships of plane and solid objects.
Ability to perceive pertinent details in pictorial or graphic material, and in verbal or tabular material.
Ability to coordinate eyes and hands or fingers rapidly and accurately to make precise movements with speed.
Ability to move fingers and hands easily and skillfully.
Ability to coordinate hand and foot movements with visual stimuli.
Ability to perceive similarities and differences in colors.
Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
