About The Position

Radiology Ltd., a 500 employee imaging company is seeking a full time Certified Medical Assistant. Hours are 8 AM - 5:00 PM Monday-Friday. This position is primarily located at our Alvernon site, with occasional travel to our La Cholla site. The CMA will provide assistance to radiology staff including radiologists, nurses and technologists in a fast paced team environment.

Ability to work on a team and seek out where help is needed
Responsible, reliable and empathetic
Proficient in Windows based PC applications
Active CPR certification
Certificate of completion from an Accredited Medical Assistant program or 2 or more years serving as a Medical Assistant (eligible for certification).
High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Prior medical office experience helpful

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for exams and coordinate patient flow
Monitor patients post procedure including vitals.
Interview patient prior to exam and provide accurate documentation for nurses, physician extenders, technologists and radiologists
Aids in providing patient education for scheduled exams
Monitors supplies
Maintains patient confidentiality
