About The Position
This role is for a Medical Assistant in the Dermatology department at Ascension Menasha Midway Office Building in Menasha, WI. The position is full-time, with variable day shifts from 6:45 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The position may involve travel.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse experience desired.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians and registered nurses to deliver essential patient care and assist with various clinical procedures and treatments.
- Prepare patients and exam rooms by conducting initial interviews, accurately measuring and documenting vital signs, and ensuring a streamlined, ready environment for the provider.
- Document patient care journeys, clinical data, and all necessary information in high-quality, accurate electronic health records to ensure continuity of care and regulatory compliance.
- Manage practice operations by organizing patient records, coordinating basic clerical and scheduling tasks, and ensuring clinical areas are consistently well-stocked and clean.
