About The Position

The Medical Assistant (MA) - OMEGA position is a full-time role located in Glenview, IL. The hours for this position are 7:30 am – 5:00 pm. Travel to other sites may be required based on department needs. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
  • One year of work experience required
  • CPR certification through the American Heart Association required

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required
  • Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required.
  • previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and escort them to exam room
  • Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
  • Provide front office support as needed
  • Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
  • Phlebotomy and injections may be required
