About The Position
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Medical Assistant to support healthcare services in a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment in Chattanooga, TN. This role functions as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations. This opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic model where clinic staff are on-site full time, with organized scheduling and patient flow in a coordinated, team-based care environment. CMC manages equipment, supplies, scheduling, billing, and logistics, allowing the care team to focus entirely on delivering high-quality patient care. This is not a high-volume corporate healthcare environment; Medical Assistants work within established clinic environments supporting care for seniors as part of a coordinated healthcare team, emphasizing quality over volume, consistency and predictable scheduling, administrative and logistical support, long-term clinic partnerships, and ethical, mission-driven healthcare delivery.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant experience required
- Strong organizational and patient communication skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach
Nice To Haves
- Certification or registration preferred, if applicable
- Experience working with senior populations preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist providers during exams and procedures
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies
- Support patient intake, vital signs, and documentation
- Assist with basic clinical tasks as appropriate to training and scope of practice
- Maintain infection control and clinical standards
- Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
