About The Position

Chicago ENT is seeking experienced Medical Assistants (MA) to join their team. This part-time role involves partnering with providers to deliver prompt, accurate, and compassionate patient care in a unique and comprehensive ENT setting. The position requires travel to various clinic locations and offers opportunities for skill growth across multiple specialties. The schedule is Monday-Friday, with hours based on business needs, not exceeding 25 hours per week, and may fall between 7 AM and 7 PM. Occasional travel to Skokie, Lakeview, Halsted, and Peterson practices is required.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalent
Current CPR Certification required
Ability to work in a high stress, fast paced environment

Nice To Haves

Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program
Minimum of two years clinical experience
Previous surgical experience

Responsibilities

Assisting Physicians, Mid-Level Practitioners, and Registered Nurses with patient evaluation, management, and treatment in an ambulatory care setting.
Maintaining patient flow.
Upkeep of exam and treatment rooms.
Performing basic skills such as vital signs and point of care testing.
Administering intramuscular injections, immunizations, and over-the-counter medications under the direction of a Physician.
Being cross-trained over time in all specialties and ancillary services including ENT, Sleep, Allergy, Cosmetic, CT, and Triage.
Available to work scheduled hours and travel between all office locations where their assigned provider hosts clinic.
Working within a weekly schedule not to exceed 25 hours.
Working hours may be between 7 AM to 7 PM.
Working up to 5 days including Monday to Friday.
Standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 30 pounds.
