Full Time Medical Assistant, supporting quality healthcare delivery at our Seattle, WA HealthHub Position Summary As a Medical Assistant at MinuteClinic, you’ll be on the front lines of care—making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives every day. In this fast‑paced and collaborative environment, you’ll use your clinical expertise and critical thinking skills to deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based care. From assessing patient needs and administering vaccines to partnering with interdisciplinary teams, you’ll play a key role in improving health outcomes and creating a caring, trusted experience for every patient you serve. You will perform tasks such as patient registration and intake by accurately document patient medical history—including illnesses, medications, allergies, surgeries, and family history—using electronic health records, wait room management, and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience. Additionally, you will develop and administer mental health assessments to screen for depression and evaluate mood, behavior, and cognitive function. Your clinical responsibilities will include evaluating complex patient conditions, monitor pain levels, and document treatment responses; applying advanced knowledge of vital sign monitoring to identify and record abnormalities in blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature; performing routine assessments to monitor patient health and ensure overall well-being; conducting medication reviews to identify potential side effects and drug interactions. You will provide excellent patient-focused activities and connect with your patients to meet our ambition to be America’s most trusted health care company. Attend staff meetings, training, and continuing education as required. You will manage patient access to healthcare and connect individuals with community resources for medication administration, self-care techniques, and disease management.
