About The Position

SynergenX & Low T Center, providers of hormone replacement and targeted wellness services, are seeking Medical Assistants to work with leaders in hormone replacement therapy and weight management. Medical Assistants provide treatment to patients, build positive patient relationships, and handle daily lab operations with knowledge and precision. The role requires a friendly attitude, flexibility to work late hours and some weekends, and comfort interacting with providers and patients. Applicants need some computer skills. Two weeks of paid training are provided, and no certification or license is required.

Requirements

Provide physical proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Have at least 3 months of relevant work experience in a medical setting performing phlebotomy, injections, and vital-sign measurements, or documented completion of 180 externship hours.
Pass a criminal background check.
Have some computer skills.
Be flexible with late hours and some weekends.
Have a friendly attitude and enjoy interacting with providers and patients.

Nice To Haves

Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certification is preferred.
Ability to perform venipuncture and intramuscular or subcutaneous injections is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform manual vital-sign measurements.
Perform routine blood draws.
Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections at a provider’s request.
Maintain lab equipment and document lab results and quality controls.
Run labs in-house or prepare them to be run at another facility, ensuring the proper labs are ordered for each patient.
Conduct weekly inventory, place orders, and communicate with others as needed.
Assist with front-desk duties when needed.
