As a Medical Assistant at On Demand Drug Testing, you will play a crucial role in supporting our medical professionals and ensuring the seamless delivery of patient care.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to perform job responsibilities in a facility with multiple levels and without elevator or mechanical transportation.

Responsibilities
- Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the medical visit.
- Assist with patient intake, including recording vital signs, medical history, and reason for the visit.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and addressing inquiries.
- Aid healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
- Administer injections as directed by physicians.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as blood draws and specimen collection.
- Obtain records and all information needed before patient appointments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Schedule appointments, answer phones, and assist with front desk duties as needed.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and streamline clinic operations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
