Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a clinical Medical Assistant role is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with dermatology-related medical terminology and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced medical environment.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software applications.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States in a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical Assistant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical histories.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and support.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for further analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
  • Schedule patient appointments and assist with managing office communications.
  • Educate patients regarding treatment plans, medications, and skincare maintenance.
  • Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary medical supplies.
