Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a clinical Medical Assistant role is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with dermatology-related medical terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software applications.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States in a full-time basis.
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical histories.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and support.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for further analysis.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Schedule patient appointments and assist with managing office communications.
- Educate patients regarding treatment plans, medications, and skincare maintenance.
- Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary medical supplies.
