About The Position

The MOSM Urgent Care Medical Assistant plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, efficient patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. Working under the supervision of the Clinical Operations Manager and a licensed provider, this position supports both administrative and clinical functions to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive patient experience.

Requirements

Strong foundation in computer skills, including proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook
Computer literate and comfortable using various office machines and filing systems
Organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, adjust to changing deadlines, and handle emergency situations or shifting priorities
Attention to detail, conscientiousness, and a strong follow-through
Excellent telephone communications skills
Solid understanding of mathematical concepts, including the ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
Capable of managing cash transactions and reconciling cash drawer balances with computer system reports accurately
Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner while ensuring high-quality results
Minimum 3 years of experience working in a surgical specialty clinic or CCMA/CMAC certification
One-year certificate from college or technical school, and minimum one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
