About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Assistant/Transcriptionist to support a physician with both clinical and documentation responsibilities. This role involves working closely with the provider to accurately document patient encounters while assisting with daily office operations. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment. Medical transcription experience is required, while medical assistant certification is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Medical transcription experience REQUIRED
• Previous medical assistant or healthcare experience required
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong typing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Dependable, professional communication, and detail-oriented

Nice To Haves

• Medical assistant certification is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time medical scribing for physician during patient visits
• Accurately document patient visits, including histories, exam findings, and treatment plans
• Perform medical transcription and ensure proper formatting of records
• Assist physician during patient encounters as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Support basic clinical and administrative tasks
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards
• Support office workflow to ensure efficient patient care
