About The Position
This is a "Bridge-to-Career" position. You will start as a Trainee, learning the ropes of a clinical environment through hands-on experience. We will support you through your Medical Assistant (MA) Registration process while paying you a full-time wage. We provide on-the-job training to learn vitals, patient intake, and clinical workflows from our experienced team. We cover the cost of your MA training and provide direct guidance from Nurses and Providers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A commitment to completing the MA Registration within 60 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual skills are a huge plus, especially Spanish!
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and help them feel comfortable during their visit.
- Assist clinical staff with basic tasks (taking weight/height, rooming patients).
- Maintain clean and organized exam rooms.
- Learn to use Electronic Health Records (EHR) to document patient information.
- Provide empathetic care to a diverse population with varied needs.
