The Medical Assistant Team Care – Breast Surgery serves as an integral member of the care team, partnering closely with physicians to enhance clinical efficiency and provide a seamless patient experience. In this role, caregivers perform comprehensive health maintenance reviews, gather and communicate patient history and chief complaints, and document visits in real time by serving as a medical scribe during patient appointments. Responsibilities also include assisting with clinical data collection, administering medications and treatments as directed by the physician, reviewing post-visit instructions with patients, monitoring physician in-baskets, and responding to patient phone calls. Through close collaboration with providers and the multidisciplinary care team, this role supports high-quality, patient-centered care while helping ensure efficient clinic operations within the Breast Surgery practice. A caregiver in this position will work 8:00am to 4:30pm.
