About The Position

New England Dermatology & Laser Center is seeking an experienced Surgical Medical Assistant to join their busy specialty practice. This role involves significant patient interaction, focusing on providing a positive office experience. Key duties include rooming patients, documenting visits, taking photos, assisting with procedures and surgeries, maintaining a sterile field, administering injections, assisting with wound care, patient education, scheduling, and managing phone calls. A strong bedside manner and attention to detail are essential.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Medical Assisting Certificate from an accredited school
Medical assisting experience
RMA, CMA or CDT required within 90 days of hire

Facilitating a positive patient office experience
