Texas Oncology is looking for a Medical Assistant to join their team in Amarillo, Tx. Texas Oncology is the largest community oncology provider in the country, with approximately 600+ providers in 220+ sites across Texas and southeastern Oklahoma. Under direct supervision, the Medical Assistant assists physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment. This role promotes efficient patient flow and patient care, including exams and procedures. It also involves performing clinic support tasks such as miscellaneous clerical duties, answering phones, and maintaining the physician's schedule. The Medical Assistant supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
