Medical Assistant / Scribe - Pain Management Monday-Thursday | 8:00 AM-5:30 PM | $18-$22/hour | Full-Time Location: Omaha, NE 68114 Looking for a consistent weekday schedule while making a meaningful difference in patients' lives? Join Midwest Pain Clinics (MPC), an established pain management practice serving patients throughout the Omaha area. As a Medical Assistant/Scribe, you'll work alongside experienced providers in a collaborative outpatient environment while gaining hands-on experience across both clinical care and medical documentation. Our multidisciplinary team provides a broad range of interventional and advanced treatment options, including radiofrequency ablation, neurostimulation, ketamine therapy, and other innovative approaches to pain management. Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
At least 3 years of medical assistant or medical scribe experience required
Must be familiar with medical terminology and have excellent typing skills

Nice To Haves

Medical Assistant certification preferred; certification requirements may vary based on clinic needs
Previous pain management, orthopedic, or spine experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for appointments by obtaining histories, vital signs, and other clinical information
Document relevant patient information and assist with accurate medical records
Prepare examination and procedure rooms for patient visits
Support providers during examinations and in-office procedures
Administer medications under appropriate physician supervision
Assist with pre- and post-procedure care and patient transfers
Coordinate appointments, follow-ups, and waitlist activity
Complete patient check-in and verify demographic and medical information
Monitor inventory and ensure clinical areas remain properly stocked
Provide a professional and compassionate experience for patients and their families
Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies and procedures
Complete required training and other assigned responsibilities
