About The Position

The Medical Scribe performs all clerical and information technology functions for a physician in a clinic setting. This includes primary responsibility for operating electronic health records and electronic dictation systems. The role requires anticipating physician needs to facilitate clinic flow. Medical Scribes must be discreet, tactful, and modest to avoid distracting medical staff from patient care. Good judgment, organizational ability, initiative, attention to detail, and self-motivation are crucial. The position demands adaptability and versatility due to a variety of tasks.

Requirements

  • Reliably commute or planning to relocate to Williamsburg, VA 23188 before starting work

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of experience with EMR systems
  • 1 year of experience with Vital signs
  • BLS Certification
  • Certified Medical Assistant
