Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; medical assisting certification preferred
• Previous experience in a medical or dermatology setting is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
• Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

Nice To Haves

• medical assisting certification preferred
• Previous experience in a medical or dermatology setting is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
• Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize medical instruments
• Collect and document patient histories and vital signs
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently
• Provide patients with instructions and educational materials as directed
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
• Support administrative tasks as needed, including phone triage and insurance documentation
