As a Medical Assistant on this team, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for patients, families, and visitors. Working collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff, you will support medication management, patient monitoring, and a variety of clinical and office tasks. This position offers broad clinical exposure through hands-on involvement in patient care, compliance, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams. A caregiver in this position works Monday—Friday| 8:00am—4:30pm or 8:30am—5:00pm.
Requirements
- Graduate from an approved Medical Assisting Program (As designated by the Enterprise MA Steering Committee) OR Military training as a Hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1) will be considered
- Completion of a clinical externship (Extensive clinical experience may be considered in lieu of formal clinical externship)
- Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (within new hire period)
- Current demonstrated clinical proficiency

Responsibilities
- Assist with performing screenings and treatments by gathering and updating information related to health maintenance, identifying medication changes, updating allergy information, collecting specimens, performing tests and documenting patient care.
- Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
- Maintain equipment, medical supplies and examination areas.
- Perform administrative/clerical duties, such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry and patient registration.
