About The Position
Our Psychiatric Urgent Care Clinic is the first Psychiatric Urgent Care Clinic supporting children and adolescents in WA State! You have the opportunity to be a part of our innovative care model to respond to patients in crisis. Come join our multidisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to make a difference in our community! This position will require working a mix of day/evening shifts as well as Saturdays/Sundays.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Current Medical Assistant – Certified designation by Washington Department of Health (DOH).
- Current Interim Certification through WA State can be substituted for up to 12 months from issue date.
- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS).
Nice To Haves
- Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program
- Current National Medical Assistant Association Certification (eligible for premium)
- Current Medical Assistant experience in Pediatrics, Urgent Care experience and/or Medical screening and immunization.
Responsibilities
- Perform individualized patient procedures, treatment and tests.
- Perform associated clerical tasks including chart preparation, stocking clinic supplies and answering telephones.
- Provide advanced assistance with medical clinic operations and monitoring of clinic flow.
