We are a busy, patient-focused Pain Management Clinic dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to patients suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions. Our team values professionalism, teamwork, and high-quality patient care. Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a clinical setting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. M-brentwood, Tuesday- Mount Juliet, Wednesday-admin, Thursday and Friday Mount Juliet
Requirements
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (preferred)
- Minimum [1 year] clinical experience (pain management experience a plus)
- Experience with EMR systems- ECW preferred
- Knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorizations preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Professional demeanor and compassionate bedside manner
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Front Desk in Brentwood on Mondays
- Document medical history and update patient charts in EMR
- Assist providers with examinations and in-office procedures
- Prepare and clean exam rooms
- Administer injections and medications as directed
- Handle prior authorizations and referrals as needed
- Drug screens, and other clinical tasks (if applicable)
- Provide excellent customer service and patient education
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and clinic protocols
