About The Position
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a full time Medical Assistant to support to join with our partnership Kako'o! Anticipated schedule :Mon-Friday, one or two evening per week, possiblity of a Saturday Position Overview: This position provides medical assistant services in support of patient care and treatment.
Requirements
- Graduated from an Accredited Medical Assistant program
- Active BLS certification required from American Heart Association
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Updated immunizations with proof
- Must have either an active passport with current legal name or DMV's Driver's License with real ID
Responsibilities
- Taking a patient's history and personal information upon arrival of appointment
- Responsible for tracking of some reports
- Checking patient vitals and provide assistance to physician in office
- Screens walk-in patients for eligibility for treatment.
- Handle light administrative duties; schedule appointments of patients.
- Handle/triage patient to staff questions.
- Maintains and stock forms and inventory needed at front desk.
- Performs various other clerical tasks to assist clinical staff members
