As a Medical Assistant on this team, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for patients, families, and visitors. Working collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff, you will support medication management, patient monitoring, and a variety of clinical and office tasks. This position offers broad clinical exposure through hands-on involvement in patient care, compliance, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams. A caregiver in this role works days from 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. or 12:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Requirements

Graduate from an approved Medical Assisting Program
Military training as a Hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1) will be considered
Completion of a clinical externship OR extensive clinical experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within new hire period
Current demonstrated clinical proficiency

Responsibilities

Assist with performing screenings and treatments by gathering and updating information related to health maintenance, identifying medication changes, updating allergy information, collecting specimens, performing tests and documenting patient care.
Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
Maintain equipment, medical supplies and examination areas.
Perform administrative/clerical duties, such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry and patient registration.
