About The Position

MaxHealth in Sarasota is looking to hire a full-time Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to oversee patient care, prepare patients' rooms, assist physicians with exams, and perform front desk tasks. The candidate for this role will perform a wide range of medical office tasks in front/back office. Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience as an MA
  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Computer literacy (experience using EMR/EHR)
  • Computer proficient
  • Previous Experience with Medical Records

Responsibilities

  • Manage necessary documents such as pre-authorizations, medical records, and test results
  • Assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments
