Our Bellevue, WA office is seeking a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist who enjoys hands-on patient interaction and wants to grow in women’s health and reproductive medicine. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their healthcare career who is looking to build clinical experience in a supportive and highly specialized environment. Requirements

  • 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in physician practice
  • Must be able to work occasional weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
  • Completion of Phlebotomy Program – required
  • Studies level: Certification
  • Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred
  • Studies level: Certification
  • Studies area: Nursing/healthcare assistant
  • 1+ year Phlebotomy experience or willingness to learn preferred
  • Prior experience in Fertility, OBGYN, or Women’s healthcare – preferred
  • Experience supporting clinical procedures is a plus
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience - preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare exam and procedure rooms
  • Support patients during clinical visits and procedures
  • Perform specimen collection and processing
  • Assist Physicians with patient care and clinical procedures
  • Maintain supplies and ensure rooms and equipment are clean and fully stocked
  • Practice phlebotomy
  • Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
  • Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories.
  • Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.
