Our Bellevue, WA office is seeking a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist who enjoys hands-on patient interaction and wants to grow in women’s health and reproductive medicine. We offer stable daytime hours Monday through Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm with rotating weekend shift every 4 weeks. Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply. The Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist will promote and restore patients’ health by assisting in the nursing process and supporting physicians and other multidisciplinary team members with hands-on patient care. You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high-quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care.

Requirements

  • Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred
  • Phlebotomy Program – required
  • Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P) Certification - required
  • 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
  • Prior experience in women’s healthcare – preferred
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel – required
  • EMR experience - preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
  • Follow proper protocols for all procedures
  • Practice phlebotomy
  • Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds.
  • Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol.
  • Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms.
  • Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
  • Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories.
  • Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results.
  • Enter results and email to provider team for review.
  • Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.
