Medical Assistant - Pediatrics
About The Position
Vancouver Clinic is looking for a Medical Assistant-Certified to join our Pediatrics team at our 87th location. Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting and documenting clinical information, assisting providers with exams and procedures, administering medications and immunizations within scope, managing patient communications, and supporting the overall delivery of patient care. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and able to maintain a positive, professional attitude in a fast-paced environment. Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions. This includes care and opinions on vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming treatment. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
- Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Certification from national certifying entity (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, etc) as required for MA-Certified credential.
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification.
- Must have reliable and predictable attendance.
