The Medical Assistant / Patient Services Representative (MA/PSR) is a hybrid role responsible for supporting both clinical and front office operations to ensure high-quality, efficient, and service-oriented patient care. This position works as part of the care team to deliver a positive patient experience by providing direct patient care services, assisting providers, and managing patient flow from check-in through check-out. The MA/PSR performs clinical duties such as rooming patients, taking vital signs, executing standing orders, and assisting with procedures, while also handling front office responsibilities including patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and responding to patient inquiries. The role requires effective communication, accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR), and collaboration with providers and staff to support continuity of care Ensure that the core values of the Camino Health Center —Service, Dignity, Justice, and Excellence are carried out within daily tasks.
