Requirements
- Must have computer experience
- Able to type at least 40 wpm
- Must be dependable
- Must have outstanding customer service, organization, and attention to detail
- Must also be a self-starter, team player, friendly and professional
- Be able to multi-task and work efficiently
- CPR certification required upon hire
Nice To Haves
- Past MA experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Entering optum attestations and APCM management
- Administering injections
- Performing INR/Protimes
- Conducting retinal eye exams
- Covering other providers when the MA is on vacation or out of the office by rooming patients
- Entering and recording all pertinent information into electronic medical records
- Maintaining clean and orderly exam rooms
- Ensuring exam rooms are properly stocked with needed supplies and equipment
- Cleaning and sterilizing instruments following clinic policy and procedures
- Calling results and relaying messages to patients as indicated by a provider in a prompt and courteous manner
- Creating and maintaining tasks and documenting all patient interactions
- Calling/Faxing/Prescriptions per protocol
