About The Position

This role is for a Medical Assistant in the Orthopedics department at Park Valley Orthopedics in Round Rock, TX. The position is part-time, with day shifts on Tuesdays through Thursdays from 8 AM to 5 PM. The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in patient care by conducting clinical interviews, capturing vital signs, preparing treatment rooms, managing clinical records and communications, and maintaining medical inventory and supplies.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
MA or Scribe experience
Weekly travel to Austin, TX

Responsibilities

Facilitate seamless patient transitions by conducting clinical interviews and capturing vital signs to ensure the care team has the most accurate data for diagnosis.
Optimize clinical workflows by preparing and maintaining sterile, organized treatment rooms that allow physicians to focus entirely on patient care.
Coordinate patient care journeys by managing clinical records and communications with precision, ensuring no detail of the treatment plan is missed.
Maintain a high-standard care environment by managing medical inventory and supplies, ensuring the team is always equipped to provide immediate patient support.
