Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, warm, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support our orthopedic providers. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth clinic workflow, delivering excellent patient care, and supporting a positive experience for every patient.

Requirements

  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
  • High School diploma
  • Must be a licensed Medical Assistant
  • Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a medical practice, to include basic patient care skills.
  • Excellent communication skills required both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle complex workload that requires meeting daily deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous clinical experience preferred
  • Orthopedic experience not required – willing to train
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical history
  • Assist providers with orthopedic exams and procedures
  • Prepare exam rooms and maintain clean, organized clinical spaces
  • Support injections, splinting assistance, and dressing changes as trained
  • Coordinate imaging referrals and follow-up care
  • Document accurately in the electronic medical record
  • Provide compassionate, respectful patient care
  • Collaborate with the orthopedic care team to support clinic flow
