Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist
About The Position
SynergenX | Low T Center | HerKare are leading providers of hormone replacement and targeted wellness services, and we are seeking qualified Part-Time Medical Assistants to join our team! This is a great opportunity to jump-start your career in the medical field while working alongside leaders in hormone replacement therapy and weight management. We offer two weeks of paid training and great benefits! No MA certification or license is required. Our Medical Assistants are responsible for providing excellent patient care and creating positive patient experiences. This role supports daily clinic and lab operations while working closely with providers, patients, and the clinic team. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable with patient interaction, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Physical proof of High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist in a medical setting OR documented completion of 180 extern hours
- Must pass a criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification preferred
- Ability to perform venipuncture and intramuscular/subcutaneous injections preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform manual vitals
- Perform routine blood draws
- Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections per provider direction
- Maintain lab equipment, documentation of lab results, and quality controls
- Run in-house labs or prepare labs for processing at outside facilities with proper orders
- Complete weekly inventory, ordering, and team communication
- Assist with front desk duties as needed
- Provide excellent patient care with a positive and professional attitude
