About The Position
MercyOne North Iowa is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant (MA) or Clinic LPN for the Forest Park Family Medicine Clinic in Mason City, IA. This position supports the clinical practice by performing administrative and clinical tasks, assisting healthcare providers in patient care, including patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and basic clinical procedures. The role also involves coordinating patient flow, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring a positive patient experience. MercyOne is committed to improving community health and is the largest provider of healthcare services in the region and the largest employer in Cerro Gordo County. They are a teaching institution with various residency and fellowship programs, and a clinical training site for numerous medical fields.
Requirements
- Must have successfully completed accredited Medical Assistant program.
- MA Certification/Registration preferred prior to hire and required within one year.
- OR Must have successfully completed accredited LPN program.
- LPN License in the state of Iowa.
