Requirements
- A current South Dakota LPN license or training/certification as a Medical Assistant
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, age-appropriate patient care with professionalism and compassion
- Collect and document patient information, including vital signs, health history, and chief complaints
- Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure they’re stocked and ready for each patient visit
- Administer medications, perform lab work, and report critical results promptly
- Educate patients and families on self-care and health management
- Serve as a patient advocate—helping support and guide patients through their care journey
