This Medical Assistant position in Oncology will focus on clinical duties and will not be required to perform admin work or answer the front desk. However, the role may involve answering internal calls. The Medical Assistant may float between the Cancer Center and the Breast Center, which are connected by a shared hallway. A California Phlebotomy License is required as the role will involve assisting with blood draws. The start date is ASAP, and 1 year of experience is required. First-timers are accepted. This is not a weekend-required position, and BLS, CMA (AAMA, AMT, AMCA, NCCT, NHA), and a Phlebotomy License are required certifications. The position is not on-call. The traveler will be required to float between like units. Locals are accepted. Any RTO (Request Time Off) restrictions must be noted at the time of submittal.
