About The Position
Munson Healthcare is seeking a Medical Assistant for Occupational Health. This role involves completing clinical and administrative tasks within the clinic, working alongside Medical Assistants and Providers to ensure optimal patient care and smooth clinic operations. The position offers opportunities for career growth within the organization, with a commitment to helping employees advance to roles such as Non-Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- BLS Certification Preferred (Must be obtained within 6 months of hire and maintained)
- Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
- MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
Responsibilities
- Complete required patient care documentation including Medical Histories, referral requests, etc.
- Assist with day-to-day operations as required for optimal patient care, which can include assisting fellow teammates and providers when necessary.
