About The Position
Newbridge Spine & Pain Center seeks a Medical Assistant/Nursing Assistant/Surgical Tech to work at their Frederick, MD office. This is a full-time position.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical office/surgery center experience.
- EMR experience (Athena preferred).
- Excellent patient communication skills.
- BLS certification required.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude, willingness to take initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Nice To Haves
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is not required but strongly preferred.
- Ambulatory Surgery Center protocol knowledge is preferred, but not required.
- Exposure to Procedure Room experience highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Escorting patients to rooms, checking vitals, and updating medical history in the EMR system.
- Assisting providers in the procedure room from proper sterile setup to operating a C-ARM.
- Collecting urine and completing records.
