About The Position
This position is for a Medical Assistant in Neurosurgery at UW Health in northern Illinois. The role involves working at two locations: 3505 N Bell School Rd and 1340 Charles St in Rockford. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with potential for evening, night, and weekend differentials, overtime, and on-call pay.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Computer experience.
- RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire.
- Bi-Annual CPR certification.
- Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained.
