Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency.
This is a full time position that will work 4pm-12pm.

Nice To Haves

Certified as a Medical Assistant preferred.
Previous experienced in substance abuse disorder preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs administrative duties such as welcoming patients and visitors, answering department phones, assisting with discharge or transfer procedures.
Responsible for taking patient history and preparing patient for examination.
Assisting the physician during examinations.
Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens.
Transmitting prescription refills as directed by physician.
Responding to patient call bells timely.
Administering medications as directed by physician.
Instructing patients about medications and special diet needs.
Ensuring all documentation is timely and according to established protocols.
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
