About The Position

In this role, you'll bring DocGo's care directly to New Mexico communities — meeting patients where they are and delivering hands-on, directed treatment for a range of injuries and illnesses, from the routine to the complex. Each day, you'll travel to patients' homes to deliver care in the settings where they're most comfortable. Working under the supervision of an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), you'll conduct guided assessments and carry out treatment for patients who face barriers to traditional healthcare access. Throughout each visit, you'll keep accurate, complete medical records in our EMR, in line with New Mexico regulations, DocGo standards, and clinical policy. You'll collaborate with MD/NP/PA’s via synchronous telemedicine support.

Requirements

  • Must have one of the following certifications or be eligible for certification within probationary period: MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA. (Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant).
  • Valid Driver's License in state of residency with 2+ years of driving experience, and an acceptable driving record
  • Must have minimum 2 years of recent in-person experience as a MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA in an Urgent Care, Primary Care, or related setting
  • Phlebotomy experience
  • Active and current American Heart Association BLS
  • Ability to lift & carry 30-40lbs in a backpack style equipment bag
  • Clinical work experience with pediatrics

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the on-the-ground connection between our Health Plan partners and the patients they serve.
  • Guide meaningful conversations around health management, well-being, medication, and each patient's goals of care.
  • Deliver supervised, directed treatment for common medical conditions.
  • Stay current through continuing education required by your state of residence and the DocGo training team.
  • Uphold clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance expectations.
  • Approach every patient with cultural sensitivity and genuine compassion.
