About The Position

At The Fertility Center of Oregon, we are seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to join our fertility care team. This role requires clinical skill, compassion, organization, and a supportive personality to assist patients through an important and emotional chapter of their lives. This is a full-time, on-site position in Eugene, OR, with an expectation of 40 hours per week. We offer a great benefits package. The pay range for a non-certified Medical Assistant is $19.80 - $23.86, and for a Certified Medical Assistant, it is $21.83 – $26.31.

Requirements

Minimum of one year of clinical support experience with experience in obtaining accurate patient vitals, medical injections, and assisting with procedures/NSTs OR a Medical Assistant Certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA required.

Responsibilities

Prepares patient for examinations, procedures, and treatments by obtaining vital signs; obtaining, evaluating, and recording patient history; and updating medication and immunization records.
Prepares and maintains examination and treatment areas, ensuring adequate inventories of supplies and equipment to maintain efficient patient flow.
Assists with examinations, procedures, and treatments. Prepare and administer injections and immunizations as directed by physician/provider.
Receives, organizes, prioritizes, stores, and maintains transmittable information utilizing electronic technology.
Collects and processes specimens, screens and follows up on test results. Performs CLIA-waived tests.
Performs instrument sterilization.
Assists with maintaining medical supplies and onsite inventory.
Maintains and updates patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
