Support the care team by performing clinical and administrative tasks that are vital to patient care. Medical Assistants must adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines to ensure patient safety and confidentiality. Our experienced team provides comprehensive pediatric primary care for children, ages birth through their high school years. Our street address is 1945 W. Wilson Ave., Chicago, IL. Our dedicated team of pediatric experts offers a broad range of services that support children through their developmental milestones. Services include preventive care such as vaccinations and well-child visits, school physicals, acute care visits, and guidance for nutrition and behavior development. With a family-centered approach, our peds team offers personalized care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience, to qualify.

Nice To Haves

• 1-3 years of experience highly preferred.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
