Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Occupational Health
About The Position
This position will support the Marinette Occupational Health team at 4061 Old Peshtigo Road. Duties will include but not limited to are: preemployment physicals, labs, audio and vision exams, and work comp injuries. As a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in the care team – supporting providers, connecting with patients, and helping ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day. As a key member of the ambulatory care team, you will: Welcome patients and support their transition into care. Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings. Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures. Administer medications and vaccines as directed. Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing. Document care accurately in the electronic health record. Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
Requirements
- LPN: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state in which the team member practices
- MA: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 45 days unless department leader has determined it is not required.

- GED or HS Equivalency Diploma.
- LPN: Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Practical Nursing
- MA: Completion of an accredited or approved program in Medical Assistant, or 2 years of verifiable full-time experience as a Medical Assistant within the last 5 years.
