As a Medical Assistant/LPN, you’ll play a vital role in the care team – supporting providers, connecting with patients, and helping ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day. As a key member of the ambulatory care team, you will welcome patients and support their transition into care, take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings, prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures, administer medications and vaccines as directed, perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing, document care accurately in the electronic health record, and partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care. The outpatient oncology clinic at Aurora Medical Center West Allis, known as Aurora Cancer Care - West Allis, is located on the 1st floor of the Aurora Women's Pavilion at 8901 W. Lincoln Ave., West Allis, WI 53227. It provides comprehensive outpatient cancer diagnosis, treatment, and supportive care for patients throughout the Milwaukee area and eastern Wisconsin.
