The family medicine clinic at Aurora Family Medicine, located within the Aurora Health Center at 4448 W. Loomis Rd., Suite 100, Greenfield, WI 53220, is a primary care practice that provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages, from children to seniors. The clinic serves as a first point of contact for preventive care, routine medical needs, chronic disease management, and coordination of specialty care. Your feedback matters. Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 45 days unless department leader has determined it is not required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state in which the team member practices
• GED or HS Equivalency Diploma.
• Completion of an accredited or approved program in Medical Assistant, or 2 years of verifiable full-time experience as a Medical Assistant within the last 5 years.
• Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Practical Nursing

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
